  • Yields: 48 witches broomsticks

1 Slice of Heaven 'Za Mix (1 Box Mix, prepared per package directions)

1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 cup Water (warm)

1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)

1Prepare Slice of Heaven 'Za dough according to Do You Bake? Za box directions.

2When dough is ready, preheat oven to 350 degrees F

3Spray 2 cookie sheets with cooking spray.

4Cut dough into two equal portions. Working with one portion at a time, roll dough into a rectangular shape onto a lightly floured surface until approximately 1/4 inch thick.

5Cut dough in half crosswise and separate dough to make 16 strips ; cut each of the strips in half lengthwise making 32 thin strips. Place strips on cookie sheets 1 inch apart.

6Using a paring knife or kitchen scissors, make 4 thin cuts (2 inches long) on 1 end of each strip. Spread out cut ends to make bristles of each broom.

7Brush dough with oil ; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

8Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with marinara sauce (make your slow cooked sauce from your Slice of Heaven 'Za Bonus sauce packet for a delicious dip-able sauce)

These fun Halloween inspired breadsticks are delicious served warm with your homemade slow cooked marinara sauce. Very few extra ingredients needed to make these Halloween party appetizers. We transform Do You Bake? Slice of heaven 'Za mix into simple Witches Broomstick dippers. Fun activity for the kiddos to be involved in.
