Spiced Up! Spinach & Artichoke Dip

This spiced up Spinach & Artichoke dip is a cinch to make and delicious to eat. A little extra kick with this fan favorite classic makes for a perfect dipper twist. Just an easy to make and delicious dip to serve for any occasion.

  • Yields: 3 cups of dip


1 Spinach & Artichoke Dip Mix (count)

1/2 cup Mayonnaise

1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese, shredded

1/2 cup Morzarellla Cheese, shredded

8 oz. Cream Cheese (1 brick)

1/2 cup Sour Cream

4 oz. Green Chillies (1 small can, drained)

4-6 oz. Artichoke Hearts (1 small can, drained and chopped)

2/3 cup Baby spinach leaves (fresh, chopped)

1 tbsp Do You Bake? Fiesta Seasoning

1/4 cup Half and Half

3 tbsp Butter

1 Onion (small, chopped)


1In a medium sized dutch oven, melt butter on medium heat. Once melted, add the onions and saute for 3 - 4 minutes, stirring in between so the onions do not brown.

2Add the cream cheese, Do You Bake? Spinach & Artichoke Dip Package, Fiesta Seasoning, 1 can of drained green chilies, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise and half and half.

3Stir well, working the lumps out of the mixture. About 3 - 4 minutes or until bubbles start to form on the surface.

4Add the spinach, artichoke hearts, Parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Let the mixture continue to cook for 5 minutes or until bubbles start forming on the surface. Remove from heat and serve immediately with tortilla chips, pita chips or crusty bread slices.

This dip is a party favorite especially for those that love a little spice, a little bite with tons of creamy deliciousness. This dip is full of flavor and is a perfect entertaining appetizer for any holiday or friends and family gathering
